Has been very helpful for my dog
I have a miniature Pinscher and she is a lot taller than most min pins. However she has struggled in the past with being just slightly overweight. She also struggled with a case of pancreatitis. With some lifestyle changes things got better. But then all of a sudden we noticed she was having allergic reactions to the dry food we had been feeding her prior which was another weight management food by another brand. When I looked at the bag I realized they had changed their formula and did not advertise it on the bag and it contained one of the ingredients she is allergic to. I was hesitant to go back to hills science diet because she did not like it the very first time we tried it however this time she absolutely loves it. She has been high energy, enjoys the taste ( if she can even taste it she’s like a Hoover) and her bowel movements are much better. Purchasing it on Amazon was much cheaper than getting it from the vet. Overall this is a quality dog food that I suggest to anyone whose dog is having health problems as Hill science diet has different types of dry food for all kinds of problems like chronic diarrhea or overall health problems and aging. The ability to start out with a 4 lb bag to see how she would handle it as opposed to a 75 lb bag from my vet is amazing. This also costs much less than big pet store retailers.

I have two shelties, we mix 1/2 cup of this with 1/2 cup freshpet and the dogs woof it up. Keeps their weight stable their skin and fur luxurious and their stools non runny and regular. No poopy pants with this combination, no upset stomaches, just happy dogs and zoomies after each breakfast and dinner with a couple of naps in between. Product is a little pricey but well worth it for these straight from heaven companions and the least I can do to make their lives comfortable and healthy.

quality food
My dog did lose weight and since he didn’t refuse to eat it I assume the flavor is good. Hill’s Science foods (wet and dry) are more expensive then say, Purina, but in my opinion it’s a higher quality food. I saw a big improvement in my dog’s coat (even w/out using the speciality blend for coats). He has a sensitive stomach and none of the varities of this brand have upset his stomach.

Great for weight loss
My corgi was about 10 pounds overweight. She loves to eat, but the vet told us she needed to lose weight. He mentioned that more than her cardio walking sessions were required. He recommended a specific brand of dog food, and my girl loves it! She is slowly losing weight; so far, she has dropped 8 pounds and has maintained that loss for four months.

This is a great diet dog food. My dog does very well on Hillâs brand food (since she was a puppy), and is now a very healthy nine year old girl. My only complaint is the higher price, compared to the other variations of the same line.

My dogs love this food and it keeps my corgi at a good weight. Other foods, even listening to the feeding guidelines seem to allow him to pack on weight

When I carried Delilah my lab) to the vet for her annual vaccination, I was told to put her on a strict 1 1/2 cups of food in the morning and another 1 1/2 in the evenings, and treats are green beans or carrots.I will admit she got treats several times a day, soup bones, nudges, or some other treats. So, I came home and ordered this for her. I cut out the other treats too. After she started eating Hills her poops were easier on her, so surprisingly easy, she had a poop accident in the house (never ever before), she was as surprised as I was. Not only was it easier for her it was much greater in volume, not piles, just big poop, not mushy, solid, and not stinky smelly.Her coat became healther, shiner, and fuller.After seeing her be more energetic and losing weight to make her feel better, the cost of Hills is worth the difference in how Delilah feels.
