I take a statin for cholesterol and have had a problem with leg cramps. I read that the statin can leech CoQ10 from your muscles and cause cramps. I talked to my doctor and he recommended I take 200 mg a day. I researched the brands and found that Nature’s Bounty is a good quality product at a reasonable price. It worked wonders. No more cramps. After I went through the first bottle, I reordered. There was a glitch at the post office and I was without my CoQ10 for two weeks. I’ve been waking up with cramps every day. Thank God I finally got them. I will order early next time. I won’t be without them again. Absolutely necessary if you take a statin.
