oh.my.gawd.AMAZING
so i was on the hunt for a piece of shapewear that really targeted my lower belly to wear under my wedding dress. my dress sort of showed all of my imperfections on my lower stomach and i was self conscious about it so i bought this. i really wanted something that was zip up or hook up because i wanted it sort of easy on and off, without any potential of roll overs under my dress while i was standing in front of my friends giving my vows :-)I ordered using the size chart, but i was sort of in between sizes, my hips are a 42, but my waist is a 34 (i’m a banana) so i ordered a size xl (thank gawd)The package arrived quickly, I ordered on a Thursday and it was delivered to my office the following Monday. Big points for fast turn around.I *tried* to try the garment on, and it was a bit difficult. maybe i’m not too used to pull up shapewear, but it was a lot of jumping and shaking to get that sucker up. IMMEDIATELY you could see it took a minimum of three inches off my lower stomach, but all that was clearly squeezing through the little zipper portion. There was no way I could get that sucker zipped standing up, so i had to lay on the bed to get it zipped, but after that, for reals. AMAZING. it took 3-4 inches off my hips, and maybe 4 or so off my waist. The only problem is that there was some spillage over the top, you know, muffin top style. luckily i’m wearing a long lined bra and my dress is corseted so this is not a problem at all to me. also, the zipper was unnoticeable. the zipper side is on the same side as a bunch of ruching on the dress so you can’t see it all, and i doubt you’d be able to anyway.Another awesome thing, besides the looking two dress sizes smaller, is that this thing is great for your posture and for keeping your stomach tight. you notice you don’t have to pay attention to standing up straight, this girdle does it for you. and immediately upon removing it, your abs feel like you just did a bunch of crunches.

it is not as good as it looks
I bought this product for back support as it claims it does. I bought x-small since I normally wear size 2. However when the product came, it has a size chart listing that x-small is for size 6-8. It doesn’t have the extended legs as the description claims and doesn’t have much back support. It is however very long on the upper side. I think it is for big and tall people even if the size is saying x-small. I guess I should return it. But I am lazy to do that. It definitely doesn’t worth $63 no matter what. You can spend only half as much to buy the similar product in JC Penny or other stores.

These are my 2nd and 3rd orders of this item. With periodic back and sciatic inflammation, this gives just enough support and because of the zipper location, makes it easy to wear with anything.

fits is way too large, didn’t hold me in at all and i ordered per the sizing chart after i measured myself. also the stitching in the crotch area is very scratchy on my inner theighs, way too uncomfortable down there :0(

I definitely recommend this for post-partem help even though the product description does not specifically advertise to this effect. Because of the hooks and zipper function on the side, this is much easier to put on and take off than other girdles when trying to fit an expanded belly into a small area. The only problem I have with this is the top of the zipper area as well as 2 bars that come up the side. The top tips will rub against and irritate my skin such that I had to create a cushion there by inserting little pieces of thick cloth. Besides this inconvenience, I highly recommend!
