Jarrow is a company that I love most in the health care industry because I have had health issues dissolve within hours of their products.At the moment I have zero health issues for years with great prevention products and vegan diet, Pterostilbene is a naturally occurring compound classified as a stilbenoid, which is similar in structure to resveratrol, another well-known compound found in red wine and certain plants. Amazing after less than 24 hours taking this
I have not written a review for a supplement before, and I am writing this after only having had this product for 24 hours. I have been waking with numb and/or tingling arms and hands after sleeping in positions with bent elbows etc. These positions are not new, so I started to wonder if my circulation was going south in my mid 60s. I have also been feeling mildly sluggish as well. Some products for circulation have resulted in erratic pulse and/or rise in blood pressure with a nervous type energy. So I though I would give this a try. It arrived at noon yesterday and I took one immediately, and within two hours I felt lighter and buoyant energetically and also more focused mentally. I took another at bed time, and woke this morning with no tingling or numbness. Amazing after less than 24 hours taking this. I took another this morning and had greater than usual energy at the gym and my mood was just wonderful. I have taken my blood pressure a few times and it is normal with no spikes. I can’t say this would be the same for everyone, and some here say they have noticed no change. I only speak from my own short 24 hour experience, but it is very real and I feel just great. I look forward to the long term results.

I was brought to this supplement by the hype around the supplement Elysium. This (plus whatever version of Chromadex NR you choose) is quite a bit cheaper than Elysium. I added pterostilbine by itself for a few days, and I had a slight dizziness effect — nothing problematic, just providing feedback for others. A couple of weeks later, I had my blood pressure tested at a doctor’s visit, and it was lower than the ostensible healthy baseline of 120/80 and lower than my previous visit, so anecdotally it does have some effect on lowering blood pressure. I didn’t have dizziness after those first few days, so perhaps my body was reequilibrating to a lower blood pressure. Some users have trouble sleeping after taking pterostilbene, so morning / mid-aternoon dosing would be recommended.Jarrow is a great company and this is a great price. I did want to point out that you can find resveratrol + pterostilbene combo supplements for not much more, including the NOW brand on this site. If you are also taking resveratrol, or feel that it would have additive health effects, you might check out those combo supplements.

It is Magic!
It’s Magic! I am 89 years old. I play Pickleball 8 hours/week; walk the dog one and a half miles/day; and work out three times/week. I have taken glucosamine for bad knees for about 30 years and it helps. About a year ago I pulled my right hamstring and it never improved–I took tylenol each time before playing Pickleball. About a month before using pterostilbene, I began having balance problems. On the third day of taking pterostilbene, I woke up with no more hamstring problem and my balance was good. On the 20th day, my knees no longer ached. I have now taken it for 25 days and none of the problems have returned. For me, it is magic!

The best one on the market! The only brand that I’ve noticed has made a huge difference! I actually take it with Resveratrol 500mg before breakfast mixed into 1 tsp of Olive Oil. ( I open up the capsules and mix it in) Apparently the 2 work amazingly well together :))
